Audio Gumshoe Interview!

I’ve recently been interviewed by my good friend, Rich Palmer over at Audio Gumshoe dot com!

You know, I had a lot of fun with this. Rich and I have been friends for a long while now, but this was the first chance we really got to have a good talk voice to voice.

We talked about my recent album “Wait With Me” as well as shared some points of view on song writing, inspirations and the use of the internet to get yourself heard.

Info on purchasing music…

I realise that while the website is still heavily under construction, there isn’t a lot of info to go around and some of you may be very confused at this point as to why I have material on the market and nobody knows where to get it!

So I just wanted to make a quick note here on the blog about it.

Physical CD’s are still only obtainable from me personally at this point. You can grab one for yourself by sending £6.50 GBP via Paypal to “order@danmccall.co.uk”
Please include the text “Wait With Me” in the comments, so I know what you’re after, along with your name and address. Please also specify if you would like the album signed… that’s free btw, but it does mean I have to take all the cello shrink wrap off the case!

Tabs page and picture gallery…

So i’ve started…

Well, the tab’s page is pretty much just there, aside from all the links to the actual tabs … they’ll be coming shortly.

And the gallery is… well… coming on I guess. I’ve just installed some “pre-pack” gallery script, and to be honest.. it’s not really what i’m after, but it’ll do for now. The biggest drawback I’ve found with it, is that I can’t figure out how to put a “home” button in there anywhere. So to get back to the main site you kinda have to keep pressing the back button on your browser or just reload the site. Which is a pain, but I’m not quite savvy enough to fix it just yet… so i’ll prolly study it sometime.

Re-shuffle…

Ok… so what the hell’s going on, you’re thinking…

Yes… the old site.. gone! Demolished, lost forever. I blame the monkey’s at Vamphost for this.

But nevermind! Now I have an actual genuine excuse to improve the wesite and add all the crap I have been planning on adding for months!

So we’ll start with a fresh blog.
Apologies to those who had already registered on the old blog… if you wanna post here, you’ll need to re-register unfortunately. But it’s open for everyone, so if you’ve got something you want to say, here’s the place you can do it

Soon, there will be a ton of new features on the main site, including:

New photo’s
New video’s
An actual Discography where you’ll be able to get info on the albums and where to buy etc.
An eagerly awaited Tablature page… i’ve had so many requests for this, so I hope you’ll find it useful
And a bunch more stuff!
